Marlborough –Marlborough Hospital earned an “A” in the elite national ratings program awarded by the independent hospital watchdog, The Leapfrog Group. The Hospital Safety Score is the gold standard rating for patient safety, the first and only hospital safety rating to be peer-reviewed in the Journal of Patient Safety. The Hospital Safety Score is free to the public and designed to give consumers information they can use to protect themselves and their families when facing a hospital stay.
Marlborough Hospital was recognized for its strong commitment to patient safety, based on the hospital’s low rate of errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
“We understand what matters most to patients is the quality and safety of the care they receive,” said Steve Roach, hospital president and CEO. “At Marlborough Hospital, it is our top priority and we are proud of the hard work, commitment and dedication of our staff and physicians. The residents of the community deserve to be treated and cared for at a hospital that is nationally recognized for high standards for patient safety.”
