Shrewsbury – The Calvin Coolidge Elementary School set a goal of raising $1,000 during the three-day Coins for Construction Drive to benefit the Shrewsbury Library construction project Oct. 19, 20 and 21. But when the coins were totaled, Coolidge had raised $1219.49, exceeding their goal. Across the district in all participating elementary and middle schools, a total of over $6,800 was raised.

Ellen Dolan, Shrewsbury Library director, visited Coolidge School to present raffle prizes provided by the Coolidge Parent-Teacher Organization to the winners and to congratulate the school for a job well done.
