Tewksbury – The Westborough High School Rangers traveled to Tewksbury Memorial High School to face the Arlington High School Cougars for their State Division 2 semi-final girls’ volleyball match Nov. 17.
The Cougars started out strong, winning the first game 27-25. However, the Rangers maintained their composure and won the next two games by the same score, 25-20. In the fourth game, Arlington had the lead for most of the game but Westborough came back to win 25-23 and the match 3-1.
The Rangers will play for the State title Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. in Fitchburg High School against either Notre Dame Academy (Hingham) or Longmeadow.
