Westborough – Gabriel Beardsley Ash, son of Susan and Anthony Ash, of Westborough, and Allison Rose Shapanka, daughter of Carol and Michael Shapanka of Sudbury, were wed on July 25 at the New England Aquarium in Boston. Matthew Shapanka of Washington D.C., cousin of the bride, officiated the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sisters Tess and Claire Shapanka, co-maids of honor, as well as Marybeth Ash, sister of the groom and Ashley Kleeman, friend of the bride, as bridesmaids.
The best man was Joshua Rhein, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Andrew Taft, Jake Madson, and Tom Kidd, all friends of the groom.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Clark University in Worcester, and is a web developer for E.H. Publishing in Framingham. The groom is a 2008 graduate of St. Michael’s College, Colchester, VT, and is a software engineer for Silicon Labs of Boston.
The couple honeymooned in Portugal and reside in Arlington.
