Annual interfaith Thanksgiving service to be held in Northborough

Northborough – The Northborough Interfaith Clergy Association’s (NICA) annual Thanksgiving Service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 7– 8 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 W. Main St., Northborough. The preacher will be Rev. Valeria Schmidt from Trinity Church. Ministers and musicians from all NICA congregations will lead the service. The service will include song, prayer, brief homily, a free-will offering for the Friends of Families in Transition. Refreshments will follow. All are welcome. Please bring a bag non-perishable food items for the Northborough Food Pantry.

NICA is composed of eight local congregations: St. Rose of Lima, St. Bernadette, Nativity, First Parish, Trinity, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, The Seventh Day Adventist, and B’Nai Shalom. Clergy members gather regularly for prayer, fellowship, discussion of issues affecting the town, and support a voucher fund for the poor, the Northborough Community Meals program, and other assistance programs.
