Southborough – The Heritage Chorale and MaryAnn Morse Healthcare Corps are offering free tickets to Southborough-area seniors and children for a fall concert Sunday, Nov. 22, at 4 p.m. at St. Mark’s School Performing Arts Center, 25 Marlboro Road.

Fifty free tickets are available for Southborough-area children aged 8 to 12 with the purchase of an accompanying adult ticket. Email [email protected] for instructions on reserving your free child ticket.

In addition, 50 free senior (65+) tickets are also available through the Southborough Senior Center. Contact Peg Leonard at the center, 9 Cordaville Road, to sign up – 508-229-4453.

The concert celebrates the 70th birthday of John Rutter, the beloved British composer. The featured work, Rutter’s rarely-heard “Mass of the Children,” will be a collaboration between the Heritage Chorale and VOICES Boston, the superb children’s chorus that frequently performs with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Lyric Opera. VOICES Boston will also perform a set of their own songs, including the world premiere of a new work, “Celebrate a New Day” by Richard Campbell.

“Mass of the Children” will also feature soprano soloist Jean Danton, baritone soloist Garrett Murphy, and an ensemble of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, string bass, organ, harp and a dazzling array of percussion instruments.
