Obit Edson ReillyNorthborough – Edson “Eddie” R. Reilly, 92, of Northborough, formerly of Marlborough, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of the late Lucienne E. (Wilhelm) Reilly, who died in 2005.

He was born in Newark, N.J., the son of the late Arthur F. and Grace (Burgess) Reilly, and was educated in Stow. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.

Eddie was a truck driver for Pilot Freight Carrier in Southborough for 17 years before retiring in 1985. He also drove for Hygrade Foods in Southborough for eight years. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He leaves two daughters, Bonnie D. Goggin and her husband John of Northborough and Crystal P. O’Grady and her husband Drew of Boylston; two sisters, Jean Bailey of Bridgewater and Muriel Zacher of Washington; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Dec. 4, from 5-8 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery of Marlborough.
