Westborough – On Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m., Congregation B’nai Shalom’s Social Action Committee will host an education and advocacy forum on homelessness. Representatives from four advocacy agencies will discuss programs and policies relating to the homeless, and present ways that individuals can be involved as advocates to effectively help address some of the key issues impacting this population. The public is welcome to attend.
The agencies are: Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, Massachusetts Law Reform Institute, Metrowest Legal Services, and Community Legal Aid.
“As we head into the holiday season, one of the greatest gifts we can give is a commitment to working together to help the most vulnerable in our communities,” said B’nai Shalom’s Rabbi Rachel Gurevitz.
Congregation B’nai Shalom is located at 117 East Main St., Westborough. For more information, contact Amy Rosenberg at [email protected].
