To the Editor:
On the evening of Nov. 6, Marguerite E. Peaslee School was filled with kids having dinner and snacks, playing games, jumping in the inflatables, having their faces painted, winning sweets from the Cake Walk and dancing to popular music in the dance party room. Parents were taking chances on the class raffle baskets and bidding for items and special packages in the silent auction. There was even a special guest appearance by the Peaslee Panda who was ready for commemorative photographs.
It was Peaslee PTO’s annual Kids’ Fair, which is the biggest fundraiser each year to support teacher grants, reading initiatives, and enrichment programs throughout the year. The success of the fair each year is due to the support of Peaslee families and staff as well as the Northborough community and local businesses who donate to the event.
