Westborough – Westborough Fine Arts Education Association (WFAEA), the parent support organization for the fine arts in the Westborough Public Schools, is holding a 50/50 raffle to benefit the WFAEA Uniform Fund Drive. Two hundred tickets will be sold for $50 each with the winner receiving $5,000.
The winning ticket will be drawn on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at the Westborough Fine Arts Education Association’s monthly meeting.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used to buy replacement ladies’ concert gowns, gentlemen’s concert wear, and new marching band uniforms.
Tickets may be purchased at the following concerts:
*Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Westborough High School (WHS) – variety of small instrumental chamber ensembles
*Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sarah W. Gibbons Middle School – Winter Concert #2 for orchestra, concert band, chamber orchestra, and jazz band
*Tuesday Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at WHS – Winter Band Concert including concert band and symphonic band
*Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at WHS – Winter Concert for choirs and orchestra. This concert concludes with the Hallelujah Chorus featuring the choral union, full symphony orchestra and alumni.
