Marlborough – A great meal, gifts, music and most of all, catching up with friends, was all on the agenda for a festive gathering Dec. 11 for nearly 100 of the city’s residents. The party was organized by the tenants’ association for the three developments overseen by the Marlborough Community Development Authority – 240 Main St., 29 Pleasant St. and 397 Bolton St. – and was held in the former Council on Aging Space at 240 Main St.
Guests enjoyed a full meal provided by Mark Disessa and Donna Paolini of Mark’s Catering. Santa Claus passed out small gifts to each guest, such as scarves and gloves, along with homemade cards that had been donated by the students at the Immaculate Conception School. Door prizes were also donated by many of the city’s businesses.
