Obit Nancy A. PantazisNorthborough – Nancy A. (Maney) Pantazis, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at Coleman House of Northborough, surrounded by her loving family. She was 93. Her husband, James W. Pantazis, died in 2001.

She leaves behind her daughter, Ann E. Fidrych of Northborough; her estranged son, William J. Pantazis of Northborough; six grandchildren; her great-grandson, David James Fidrych; her sister, Elizabeth Grice of Mo.; her sister-in-law, Jane Maney of Northborough; and cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William Maney.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Morton and N. Agnes (Walker) Maney. She lived in Northborough since 1936.

Years ago, Mrs. Pantazis worked at the former Montrose Dairy in Westborough. She and her husband Jimmy owned and operated Chet’s Diner since 1960 and together fed many generations of customers for over five decades. A lifelong member of the First Parish Church Unitarian, she was also a member of the former Northborough Grange.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 4-7 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Her funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m., in First Parish Church Unitarian, 40 Church St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
