Shrewsbury boys’ hockey triumphs over Marlborough

Marlborough – The visiting Shrewsbury High School Colonials boys ice hockey team defeated the Marlborough High School Panthers by a score of 4-1 in a New Year’s Eve matchup played at Navin Arena.

Marlborough scored first on a goal by Jake Hardy, but by the end of the first period, Shrewsbury had taken the lead with goals by Anthony Quinlivan and Matt Ward. Adam Twitchell scored twice in the third period to lock up the win for Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury improves to 5-0 on the season while Marlborough falls to 0-5-2.
