Lloyd was born Oct. 18, 1940 in Worcester, son of the late Gertrude (Dumas) and William Nolan. He lived in Grafton with his wife Kathy for more than 50 years.
Lloyd always had a love for baseball, playing in his early days and following his beloved Boston Red Sox throughout his life.
For 25 years, Lloyd worked at Hode’s Market in North Grafton and then for Frito Lay Corporation for another 25 years. Away from work, when his daughters were young, you might have found Lloyd behind the plate as an umpire at their softball games and throughout his life tending to his vast vegetable garden or with a fishing rod in his hand at Hovey Pond in North Grafton.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, please honor him with a donation to St. Mary’s Church, c/o Bereavement Ministry, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton, MA 01536.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church in North Grafton. He will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.
