Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Hudson – Adam E. Greska, 91, of Hudson, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. He was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Hudson, the son of Adam and Emily Kivlikute Greska.

He was a member of St. Michael’s Parish in Hudson, and was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. During his service, he was assigned to the Panama Canal. He took great pride in being assigned as a driver for an Army General. He also was a member of the VFW.

Mr. Greska was a graduate of Hudson High School. He was a self-employed cabinet maker for several years, and later taught at Worcester Vocational Technical School as a shop teacher in “The Art of Cabinet Making.”

Mr. Greska leaves his wife, Laura Anne (Kodzis) Greska of Hudson; two sons, Edward F. Greska of Hudson and Robert C. Greska of Colorado; one daughter, Linda M. Greska of Maynard; one sister, Eva Slobodzian of Connecticut,;seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Friday, Jan.22, at 10 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours in the funeral home Thursday, Jan.21, from 5-7 p.m.
