What are your earliest soccer-related memories?

“Playing in an intramural league when I was 7, and having to wear a special jersey when you scored so you couldn’t score twice in a row.”

    Who encouraged you to play?

“My dad really encouraged me to play because he played in college at Saint Michael’s, and he knew that playing in high school would be a great experience for me.”

What does it feel like to be a young promising athlete for a school with an athletic tradition like Saint John’s?

“Attending and being an athlete at Saint John’s is a really exciting, but also nerve-wracking. This is because while you get to experience a high level of competition and skill, you also have to keep up with the high expectations that people have.”

What has been the single most special game of your young soccer career so far?

“The most special game for me so far in my career has to be my first game at Saint John’s on the freshman team. This is because I had never experienced playing for the school that I go to and I had never understood the pride you take in your school.”

What do you hope to accomplish by the time you’re a senior on the team?

“By my senior year on the team, I hope I have proven myself as a consistent and reliable player.”

What is your favorite class in school?

“In school my favorite class is history because I find it interesting to learn how the world came to be the way it is today.”

What is your favorite type of music, and artist in that genre?

“My favorite type of music is country. I find it relaxing and easy to listen to. My favorite country artist is easily Zac Brown Band.”

What are your hobbies off the field?

“I also play hockey, and my biggest hobby is fishing.”

Who are your favorite soccer team and player?

“My favorite team in Major League Soccer is the Los Angeles Galaxy. My favorite player is Steven Gerrard. I am also a fan of Liverpool in the Premier League, and he’s played for both those teams.”
