Westborough – The Westborough Community Land Trust presents “One Woman, One Year, One Thousand Birds (almost!)” Sunday, March 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the Westborough Public Library meeting room, 55 W. Main St. Birder Jill Lapato took a year-long sabbatical from her teaching job to travel the world in a quest to photograph 1,000 bird species. She captured on film amazing birds of different continents, from the yellow-eyed penguin in New Zealand to the potoo in Ecuador. Lapato will tell her story, show some of her beautiful photographs, and share fascinating facts about the birds she photographed. For more information, contact [email protected].
