Marlborough – G. Berniece (Milley) Neuhaus, 93, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester after a brief illness. She was the wife of Carl A. Neuhaus, who died in 1989.
She leaves two daughters, Gwen Bosse and husband Ted of Southbridge and Carlene DiDonato of Northborough, and four grandchildren, Melissa Wismer of Atlanta, Aimee Bosse of Arlington, Va., Sabrina Bosse of Vienna, Va. and Cole DiDonato of Mendon.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of George and Ethel (Shiers) Milley and sister of the late Jean Eldridge and Donald Milley.
Berniece was a self-employed hairdresser in Hudson and Marlborough. After retirement she worked for 20-plus years at Marlborough City Hall. Additionally, she volunteered her time at Marlborough Hospital.
Berniece enjoyed playing mahjong, swimming, traveling, and watching tennis.
Reflections celebrating Berniece’s life were held March 8 at Hays Funeral Home of Northborough.
