Northborough – A Summer Safety Workshop, sponsored by Century Health Systems of Natick, will be held Thursday, May 12, at 1 p.m. at the Northborough Senior Center, 119 Bearfoot Road.
Learn about how to plan for a safe summer in this interactive workshop, run by Jean Sniffin, RN, community health nurse with Natick Visiting Nurse Association and Century Health Systems.
Topics will include preparing a First Aid kit; how to prevent sunburn and other heat-related illnesses; the dangers of dehydration; allergic reactions, stings and bites; bike safety; water safety; and bats and ticks.
