Northborough – Flaherty Physical Therapy, Inc., (FPT) will celebrate their grand opening with two events in the first week of April.

FPT is a privately owned physical therapy office, located at 411 W. Main St., Suite 3, in Northborough, that opened Feb. 1. Services include exercise, manual therapy, balance training, vestibular/vertigo training, spinal rehab and post-operative orthopedic therapy.

The first grand opening event – a presentation about lower back pain – will take place Tuesday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m. Kevin Flaherty, PT, CSCS, owner, physical therapist and chief mojo officer of FPT, will present “Why live with lower back pain? It’s all about the core.” He will give attendees information about the anatomy of lower back pain, causes and cures. Admission is free.

On Saturday, April 9, FPT will hold a free community celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring food, goodies, physical therapy educational handouts, raffle prizes and free chair massages. Local residents, family and friends are invited to come into the clinic, check it out and learn more about FPT and how their services might be able to help to improve their mojo.
