Kimberly T. Cahill-Sabourin, 55, of Uxbridge/Grafton

Obit Kimberly T. Cahill-SabourinUxbridge/Grafton – Kimberly T. Cahill-Sabourin, 55, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 following a brief illness.

She leaves her husband of 24 years, Robert “Sub” Sabourin; her stepdaughters, Julie Magill and her husband Jeremy and Jenn Sabourin; her mother, Betty J. Cahill; her sisters, Linda Morse and Scott Wood and Melissa Cormier and her husband Roger and brother Daniel Cahill; her grandchildren, Kylie and Carter Magill; her nephew, Nick Morse; and nieces Ashley Morse and Haley Cormier.

Kim was born Feb. 20, 1961 in Worcester. Her roots were in Grafton and after she married Bob, they lived in Uxbridge together for many years.

Kim dedicated her life advocating for children. She worked in the Grafton Public School district for 30 years, most recently as a Placement Specialist. Away from work, she could easily be found heading for Cape Cod for the beaches in Dennisport or to the National Seashore in Nauset, where she loved the peace that came with being outdoors. Closer to home, her life with Bob was centered around family as they were always hosting gatherings and holidays with their children and grandchildren.

She had a great love of the arts, theatre, in addition, to the joy that came for her in seeing the children she helped over the years find happiness and opportunity. Her legacy now is that of a selfless life of putting others first and she will be greatly missed.

Please honor Kim with a donation to The New England Center for Children, 33 Turnpike Rd., Southborough, MA 01772 or online at
