Grafton – On March 23 and 24, second-graders at Millbury Street Elementary School were captivated by Ms. Stella from the Discovery Museum who presented the Physical Changes of Matter program. She visited each class where the children learned more about solids, liquids and gases and the different change cycles they undergo. They participated in many experiments which included changing ice to another form of matter, watching Ms. Stella use dry ice to make it sublimate and lastly observing the effect that liquid nitrogen had on various objects. The program was sponsored by the South Grafton Parent-Teacher Organization.
