Hudson – Steven Lee Carlisle, 66, of Hudson, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, after a period of declining health.
He was the father of Keith Carlisle and his wife Doreen of Sturbridge; the brother of Clayton Carlisle and his wife Alice of Hudson, and sister Laura Quinlan and her husband Joe of Clinton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Roman and Finley Carlisle of Sturbridge, and was the uncle of Jacqueline and Stephanie Quinlan of Clinton. He also leaves his former wife of 28 years, Pam Carlisle of Worcester.
He was a member of the graduating class of 1968 of Hudson High School, and attended Quinsigamond Community College. He served as a proud Eagle Scout.
Steve was a real GM man, working as an assembler for General Motors in Framingham for over 30 years. He was a proud member of UAW. His passion was riding with friends and his love for his Harley Davidsons and hot rods.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 28, from 3-5 p.m., followed by a celebration of Steve’s life at 5 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. (Route 62, Exit 26 off Route 495), Hudson. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family.
