Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Department released this statement this afternoon:

Shrewsbury Police responded to the Shrewsbury Green Apartments on April 30th, 2016 at 5:47 PM for a male party following a female. The Shrewsbury Green Apartments are located on South Quinsigamond Avenue directly across from Shaw’s Market in Shrewsbury. The reporting female stated the suspicious male had started following her while leaving Shaw’s Market and then she saw him again at her apartment complex where her husband intervened. Upon the suspicious male hearing the Shrewsbury Police had been notified he fled the area. The husband did take pictures of the subject involved.

The Shrewsbury Police are currently investigating this incident and also two other similar incidents that occurred in the same area. The Shrewsbury Police have positively identified the subject involved and have confirmed that he is the same individual involved in the two previous incidents however, we are unable to release any further information due to the fact that this is an ongoing investigation.  The Shrewsbury Police are asking the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or individuals to the Shrewsbury Police immediately.
