Northborough – The Northborough 250th Anniversary 5K Race Committee is looking for more runners for the Saturday, May 21, event to meet its goal of 250 runners in honor of the town’s anniversary. So grab those sneakers and be part of celebrating the 250th milestone of Northborough’s history.
The race will start and end at Marion Zeh School, 33 Howard St. The race day itinerary is full of history, camaraderie, fitness and patriotism. A warm up will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by opening remarks, route history and the National Anthem. Runners will take their marks at 9 a.m.
This is a professionally timed race and all your race memories will be photographed as well.
All are welcome to join the run to beat a personal record on the course, learn a bit more about the history of Northborough or to show their Northborough pride. In addition, all participants will be included in the town register for participating.
