Obit Joseph C. FeeleyGrafton – Joseph C. Feeley, 87, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, following a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy R. (Maroney) Feeley; his son, Steven Feeley, and grandson, David Feeley; his brother, James Feeley; his sister, Patricia East; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Paul, Richard, Harold and Wilfred Feeley, and his sisters, Rita Stencel, Helen Vela, Mary Henning, Catherine Phelan and Ruth Walsh.

Joe was born July 16, 1928 in Worcester. He grew up in the city and graduated from Clark University in Worcester. He served in the US Army during World War II and following his military service worked as a postal clerk in Worcester for 33 years.

He was a faithful parishioner and steward of his beloved St. Mary’s Church in North Grafton, having taught in their RCIA program and supporting the Bishop’s Fund campaign ministry among others.

All are welcome to gather with Joe’s family and friends Wednesday, May 11, from 4-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. Burial will be private at the convenience of his family.
