Marlborough – Patricia Marie (Baxter) Walcott, 61, of Marlborough, formerly of Milton, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, May 14, 2016 after a courageous 33-year battle with multiple sclerosis. Her remains were sent to MS research in hope of helping others with this horrible disease. She was the beloved wife of Richard L. Walcott for the past 39 years.

Patti worked as a waitress while attending UMass, Boston, where she received her bachelor’s degree 1976. She went on to work for Stone & Webster Engineering Corp of Boston and became a project leader for nuclear power plants, before leaving to help run a successful family business.

In addition to her husband, Patti is survived by her daughter, Pamela M. Walcott of Natick; her siblings, Bruce Baxter of Sandwich, Roberta Baxter of Brockton, James Baxter of Yarmouth; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, May 21, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. (Route 30), Southborough.
