Region – The Sunshine Club has a few overnight trips planned for the fall: Oct. 3 – 12 to Scotland for 10 days (call Pam at 508-476-4474); Nov 6 – 8 to the Villa Roma Resort in the Catskills for $369.; Nov. 28 – 30 to the White Mountain Hotel and Resort in North Conway for $439; and to NYC at Christmas from Dec. 10-12 for $339, including the 9/11 Museum. Trips fill up fast, so don’t wait too long to sign up.
Also, the Sunshine Club will be taking a day trip to Meredith, N.H. Thursday, July 28 to see the musical “My Fair Lady” at the Interlakes Theatre. There will be lunch at Hart’s Turkey Farm with a choice of turkey dinner, roast sirloin, or broiled haddock. Everything is included for $74.
Other trips include a cruise out of Portland, Maine to Bailey’s Island Monday, Aug. 15, with lunch on the island. The price is $92. On Tuesday, Sept. 13, there will be a cruise on the MS/Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee with the buffet on the boat and a stop in Wolfeboro for $72.
