Marlborough – St. Mary’s Credit Union will present a community service seminar Saturday, June 11 to educate young adults about managing personal finances. The seminar is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with registration from 8:30- 9 a.m. The seminar will take place at the credit union’s headquarters located at 46 Lizotte Drive in Marlborough. Everyone, including non-members of the credit union and parents, are welcome to attend – but pre-registration is required.
The seminar will focus upon three areas, including: checking and savings accounts; loans, credit and collections; and setting goals and budgeting.
The content of the seminar is designed for high school juniors and seniors, as well as college students. Breakfast and lunch will be included, as well as prizes and giveaways throughout the day.
