Hudson – Lorraine Dempsey succumbed to her long battle with dementia Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
She was born and raised in Boston, and became a longtime resident after settling in Hudson with her family.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind four daughters, Donna (Dempsey) Greska of Hudson, Brenda (Dempsey) Turner of Hubbardston, Lorraine (Dempsey) Hanley of Watertown, and Debra (Dempsey) Hennessy of Stow; nine grandchildren; and 3-½ great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and her companion, Precious, in her final years.
A funeral service and celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held Tuesday, June 7, at 10 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 6, from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
