Shrewsbury – Diplomas were presented to 389 graduates in the class of 2016 at a ceremony June 2 at the Shrewsbury High School (SHS) Field House.
Speakers included Superintendent Dr. Joseph Sawyer; SHS Principal Todd Bazydlo; School Committee Chair Sandra Fryc; Yutong Liu, valedictorian; and Allison Ross, salutatorian. Other speakers included the class officers: Emma Aulenback, president; Richard Peng, vice president; Jaehyun Lee, secretary; Ryan Beals; Walsh Kang, treasurer; and Michael Wackell, marshal.
Music was provided by the SHS Orchestra conducted by Margaret Dago, and the Senior Choir conducted by Michael Lapomardo.
