Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Education Foundation (SEF) has announced a special way for families to thank the Shrewsbury Public School faculty this year.
For a $25 donation to the SEF, families can have a potted geranium and $5 gift certificate to Papa’s Hardware in Shrewsbury given to their favorite faculty member.
Melanie Petrucci, SEF co-president, said the organization is excited to be working with Papa’s Hardware, who has generously agreed to be the hometown sponsor for the end of school initiative.
“Fred Betti, owner of Papa’s and his associate, Paula, have been a delight to work with and we are thrilled to once again be partnering with a local Shrewsbury business,” Petrucci said. “Papa’s Hardware has been such a great community supporter.”
Families can place their orders by visiting www.sefgrants.org. Plants are in limited supply and are first come, first served. The deadline to order is Friday, June 17. The SEF will deliver packages on the last day of school, Tuesday, June 21.
Papa’s Hardware is located at 276 Boston Turnpike.
