Obit Darlene M. OksanishGrafton – Darlene M. (Heath) Oksanish, 62, passed away at home Tuesday, June 14, 2016 following a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Timothy Oksanish; her children, Tamara O’Neil and her husband Scott, Cean Oksanish, and Kyle Oksanish and his wife Suzanne; her mother, Mary Francis (Mathews) Grabowski; grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas; brother, Robert Heath and his wife Maureen; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, Karen Cosgro and Anne Holden. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Heath.

Darlene worked for 32 years at Norton Company in Worcester.

Her family was always at the center of her life and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

All are welcome to gather with Darlene’s family and friends Friday, June 17, from 5-8 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. There will be a Panahida held during the calling hours at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m., at Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, 63 Laurel St., Worcester. All attending the funeral service are politely requested to go directly to the church and, in reverence to church’s traditions, a conservative dress code featuring collared shirts and pants for men and dresses or long skirts with a head covering or scarf for women is required.
