Northborough – The Northborough Free Library will be hosting an exhibit of posters titled “Workers Struggles” July 5-28, to give a visual display of many of the problems workers encounter in trying to secure decent wages and working conditions.

The posters are from a collection of more than 6,000 owned by Stephen Lewis, a retired union leader and continuing activist. The posters are from a number of countries, and address many different issues. They are accompanied by placards that give background on the poster and translates words to English where the poster is in another language.

This project is supported in part by a grant from the Northborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and by IBEW Local 103, Roofers Local 33, and Asbestos Workers Local 6.

The Northborough Library is located at 34 Main St. For more information, call 508-393-5025.
