Marlborough – Police Chief Mark Leonard released this statement this morning:
Beginning in June 2016, the Marlborough Police Department began an investigation involving possible illegal sexual activities at the Relaxation Massage business located at 167 East Main Street Marlborough. Several complaints and anonymous tips were received by the department and as a result of this investigation, detectives acquired more specific information regarding these activities occurring at this establishment. On June 23, 2016 an undercover police officer entered the Relaxation Massage and was offered a sexual act in exchange for cash. As a result, detectives arrested 55 year old Rui Jiang and charged her with offering sexual conduct for a fee.
Investigations involving illegal sexual activities occurring in the City of Marlborough are important to the members of this department and the residents of the City. As a result, the Marlborough Police Department will continue to conduct compliance checks throughout the city at similar business which offer these services. The partnership which develops between the departments and the residents of the community is essential in successfully combating these types of illegal activities in our communities.
