Westborough – The Pastoral Counseling Center of Mass. (PCC) recently honored Bill Stanney, who retired from the board of directors after a 15 year stint.
During the board’s June 20 meeting, Dr. Mark Booher, the board’s president, said that Stanney, a resident of Northborough, had “donated a huge amount of time and talent” to the organization.
“He also has donated extensive computer expertise to the center in both the Worcester and Westborough offices over the years,” said Mary Taber, PCC’s executive director.
“We are very appreciative of his generosity with his gifts and his length of service helping us serve those in need,” she added.
PCC offers a specialized type of counseling that combines behavioral sciences and religion. The staff members are all licensed therapists who have studied psychology, marriage and family, and pastoral counseling.
