Obit Beti A. GoodellWestborough – Beti A. Goodell, 101, of Westborough, formerly of Waltham, Marlborough, and Fort Pierce, Fla., died Saturday July 9, 2016 at Beaumont at the Willows, Rehab & Nursing Center in Westborough. She was the wife of the late Warren J. Goodell, who died in 2010, and ex-husband Joseph P. Flynn, who died in 1968.

She was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Marie (Turdin) Majulin, and was a 1933 graduate of Waltham High School.

Beti loved to travel, read, and sew. Raising three children on her own, she worked during her Waltham years as a professional seamstress for the bridal salon Chez Elise and as secretary for Burke’s Furniture Store and the Waltham Hospital.

Predeceased by her daughter, Mary Lou Hyde of Florida, and nine brothers and sisters, she leaves her son, Gerald J. Flynn and his wife Karin of Marlborough, and a daughter, Donna M. Donovan and her husband John Terlemezian of Framingham. In addition to numerous great-grandchildren, she also leaves two granddaughters, Kari (Donovan) George of Waltham and Kristin (Flynn) Romig of Sudbury, as well as grandson Jason Sullivan-Flynn of Amherst.

Following cremation, funeral and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
