Region –The annual Lake Quinsigamond Boat Parade will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. rain or shine. Celebrate Lake Quinsig Day with the Classic Boat Show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the parade, which starts and ends at Regatta Point. The event will feature food trucks, games, a beer and wine tent, and music by DJ DeSoto. The theme of the parade is “Around the World”; participants may decorate boats with the flair of a country. Awards will be given for most creative boats
