Shrewsbury – Lois A. (Hagerstrom) Donahue, a longtime resident of Shrewsbury, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was 84.
Born in Worcester, daughter of the late Hugo and Henrietta (Haas) Hagerstrom, Lois was raised and educated in Shrewsbury and graduated from Shrewsbury High School. She previously worked for New England Power and Melville Shoe Corporation and was a member of Lakeview Congregational Church.
Lois leaves her husband of 63 years, Gerald W. Donahue Jr.; a son, Roger and wife Sharon (Warpula); a daughter, Jill Audette and husband Edward; grandsons, Timothy and Christopher; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth, and sister, Barbara Prescott.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
