Marlborough – Patricia J. (Daniels) Flynn, 66, of Marlborough, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 after a period of failing health.

Born in Cambridge, the 14-year Marlborough resident was the daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice (Alper) Daniels of Natick.

Ms. Flynn, who formerly worked in customer service for the Bank of Boston in Brookline, was employed most recently – for 20 years – by Comcast.

An avid reader and writer, she enjoyed creating ceramic pieces and collecting magnets from across the globe.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jessica Schram; son-in-law, Joaquin; and beloved grandson, Elijah of Marlborough. Also surviving her is her husband, James Thomas Flynn of Clinton; sister, Kathryn Daniels (Paul Ascher) of Jackson Heights, N.Y.; brother, Mark Daniels of Galveston, Texas; aunt, Charlotte Chansky of Potomac, MD.; and many loving cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, with a celebration to follow.
