cartoon 8.19Region – When residents and guests celebrate the 20th annual Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival next month, there will be one new event they will definitely not want to miss – a fireworks display on Saturday, Sept. 24. The fireworks will be lit from the Glavin Regional Center on Lake Street and weather permitting, should be able to be seen from many parts of the town.

Fans of these spectacular displays of light and sound will have another chance to view them in the region. A display will be lit at Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough Saturday, Sept. 17 as part of that town’s annual Applefest Weekend.
