N fire 2 rsNorthborough – Residents and friends are rallying to support the Yellick family of Northborough after a devastating fire that destroyed their home on Hudson Street in the early morning hours of Aug. 28.

Todd Yellick is a veteran firefighter with the town of Northborough. He was home at the time of the fire with his wife Kerrie, daughter Nina and her boyfriend Austin. All four escaped although todd received minor injuries.

The small one and a half stories brick home was built around 1850 and was on the state’s Register of Historic Places. The family also runs a small farm stand on the property. As of Tuesday morning, Aug. 30, they announced on their Facebook page that they were back up and running the stand.

Donations to help the family may be sent to Northborough Professional Firefighters, Local 3057 Relief, P.O. Box 103, Northborough, MA 01532.N fire 1 rs
