Region – Home Instead Senior Care of Northborough and Natick is sponsoring a CARFIT program for area seniors in conjunction with the Westborough Council on Aging. Trained technicians will be assessing senior drivers for their “fit” in their own vehicle. Drivers will learn if they are positioned correctly, if the vehicle equipment is in the optimal position and be given helpful tips and adaptive equipment suggestions for better road safety. A licensed occupational therapist conducts the final check.
The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Road. The event is free and light refreshments will be served.
