Obit Nicholas SilverbergShrewsbury – Nicholas “Nick” M. Silverberg, 22, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at home following a battle with opiate addiction.

Nick is survived by his wife, Kelsey (Shoenig), and daughter, Autumn of Worcester; his mother, Maria (Lonchiadis) Silverberg of Shrewsbury; his father, Michael Silverberg; his maternal grandmother, Sharon Lonchiadis of Shrewsbury; and two sisters, Jessica of Rhode Island and Kaitlyn of Shrewsbury, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nick was known for his larger than life personality and interest in bodybuilding and weightlifting. His desire was to become a personal trainer and help those trying to make a better life for themselves.

A graduate of Shrewsbury High School, class of 2012, he served in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Drum prior to his discharge. Most recently, Nick worked for a medical supply company in Maine.

Nick’s family requests that memorial donations be made to the Autumn Silverberg Trust, in care of the Roney Funeral Home, PO Box 75, N. Grafton, MA 01536.

All are invited to join his family at calling hours Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 4-7 p.m., at the Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. (Routes 140/122), North Grafton. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of Nick’s family.
