Fred served for 16 years in the U.S. Army, retiring from the U.S. Air Force, and was the proud recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; six daughters; and 12 grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery on Wilson Street in Marlborough.
The Lord has carried Fred home with our love and hearts and he will hold on to these until we meet again. We will miss him and love him forever. His Family.
