Region – Local cultural councils have announced they are inviting organizations, schools and individuals to apply for funds supporting a range of cultural activities that showcase arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. Local councils receive funds from the Massachusetts Cultural Council which allots a specific percentage annually to local cultural councils.
The application deadline is Monday, Oct. 17, and applications may be submitted by mail or online, depending on the specific town’s requirements.
