Obit Annette WarrenNorthborough – Annette M. (Eldredge) Warren passed away peacefully at her son’s house Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 after a period of declining health. She was 90 years old. She was the devoted wife for over 67 years to Leonard W. Warren, who passed away in 2014.

Among her survivors, she leaves her loving children, Philip Warren and his wife Tammy of Kentucky, Bruce Warren and his wife Barbara of Northborough, and Kent Warren and his wife Karen of Franklin; her grandchildren whom she cherished, Elizabeth “Beth” Warren-Roy and her husband Corey of Northborough, Lori Zacharias and her husband Jack of Virginia, Amy McKeown and her husband Keith of Holliston, Adam Warren and his wife Patricia of Grafton, Krista Nelson of Worcester, and Alex Jones of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Corey Hill, Brooke, Aubrey and Zachary, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Annette was born Nov. 23, 1925 in Northborough, the daughter of the late Carl W. and Inez Z. (Brown) Eldredge. She graduated from Northborough High School, class of 1943, and was a lifelong resident of Northborough.

Annette was employed as an office manager for Bigelow Nursery for 30 years until her retirement in 1987.

She was a longtime active member of the Trinity Church of Northborough. She enjoyed counted cross-stitching, reading a good book, and working a challenging crossword puzzle. One of the greatest joys of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept. 16, from 4-7 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor Valeria Schmidt officiating. Burial in Howard Street Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
