Ashland – The Ashland Business Association (ABA) is launching its new website, www.ashlandbusinessassociation.com, on Ashland Day, Saturday, Sept. 17. The website, in addition to an updated look, has increased functionality for its growing membership and will serve as a portal for the greater Ashland business community of nearly 600 registered businesses.

“ABA members will now have their own micro site within the ABA website, where they can post images, videos, offers, events and other customizable content” Alan MacIntosh, CEO of Bay State Support, said. MacIntosh, the ABA webmaster and a new businesses owner, developed the interactive site over the past few months.

“ABA members get a customizable webpage, which can supplement and help drive traffic to their business website if they have one, and can be the website for small businesses that don’t have one,” MacIntosh said. “This type of responsive website and promotional opportunity is just another great value that members get for their $75 per year ABA membership!”

The new ABA website intends to be a portal for all of the town’s businesses and community organizations.

“Creating an economically vibrant community requires an easy connection between businesses and customers,” Alex Carleton, ABA president, said. “This new website will make it much easier for residents to find services and products. It will give residents one place to see event listings and special offers.”
