Friends of the Poor Walk/Run to be held in Sudbury

Region – The St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Society Conference of Immaculate Conception Church, Marlborough, in partnership with the SVdP Conference of St. Anselm Church, Sudbury, is participating in the Friends of the Poor Walk/Run Sunday, Sept. 25. The event begins at St. Anselm Church, 100 Landham Road, Sudbury, with registration at 10 a.m. The walk begins at 11 a.m.

The newly formed Immaculate Conception Conference will join the walkers of the St. Anselm Conference of SVdP. Help those in need by walking and/or donating. Proceeds identified for Immaculate Conception will assist those in need in Marlborough.

The Friends of the Poor Walk/Run is a national event coordinated by the National Council of the United States Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Its goal is to help support local SVdP conferences and councils in their work.
