She leaves a daughter, Beverly DePari-Dyer and her husband William; a son, Eric Drewry and his wife Dayva; a sister, Lilly Hacker; two brothers, Bernard and Kenneth Gardner; five grandchildren, Jessica Drewry, Carolyn Faria, Eric Drewry, David DePari, and Steven DePari; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Angela was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Drewry, along with two sisters, Carmen Chue and Evadine Hacker, and two brothers, Egbert and Louise Gardner.
Angela was born in Jamaica, daughter of Percival and Angela (Bunnamann) Gardner. She moved from Jamaica to New York City in 1952. While living in New York, she was a bookkeeper and a seamstress, and became a wife and mother.
Angela and her family relocated to Grafton in 1958; at that time, she worked as a waitress before opening her ceramic studio, “JT Ceramics.” The years passed and Angela and her husband moved to North Oxford and made it their home for many years.
Angela was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and parishioner of St. Anne’s church.
We would like to thank everyone at Auburn Life Care Center for their compassion and tender care that they have provided. A special thanks to Dr. Black and his team for taking such excellent care of Angela over the past several years.
